I got my hands on this insane Indonesian mirror frame from the fifties (not yet antque but old!) and I immediately wanted to change it into something special. So... Open the gates! The painting is heavily influenced by the artwork from Watain's Lwless Darkness album. It's a really big piece with a size of 90 x 90 cm (with the 'gates' open). And it's heavy!

MOUNTAINS CRAVE
Influenced by the beautiful same titled song from Anna Von Hauswolff. Besides the background I made this entire painting with a palette knife giving it a really rough structure.
